I think they were solid pickups given what paltry recruiting interest Pope was
able to garner in his first couple seasons here.
As much as was made of AB & Haarms, really we struggled to land any decent recruits in the portal. We were generally getting beat out in head-to-heads w both the MW & our own WCC.
I think Pope is gonna eventually make that trend change pretty hard — but for now, Fouss, Gideon & SJ were rather huge pickups for us.
