As WAC Frosh of the year I think he woulda had some decent offers, though — were he to have put himself in on the open market rather than follow Pope to Provo.

I can see why he woulda been upset if/when his schollie was pulled, but that's the tough side of the game. You can't expect to hold a schollie beyond two years like he did — if you can barely be healthy enough to even suit up a few times.
