I agree that water usage should wel thought out and not
enable growth that isn’t sustainable. But that isn’t what we are experiencing today.

I’d be in favor of it being build to solve CO over allocation issues for a time and then use it to recharge aquifers and tributary streams and rivers. Essentially being more proactive in water storage and less about enabling growth.

Honestly, the feasibility of it is on par with desalination.

The environmental costs isn’t a show stopper. It’s more of a policy, partnership, and political collaboration issue
