Who knows what the future of programming will look like. If I'm looking 20 years
down the line, I would probably prefer to hitch my wagon to Apple or Amazon than CBS, NBC, or even Fox.
And Apple or Amazon could just straight up buy ESPN if Disney decided to spin it off (as has been previously rumored), and if they really were interested in getting into sports programming, that would the best way to get on top of the market.
