Saw that after I posted. Really it just shows that good teams & matchups are

just as important in determining what draws in viewers. Networks want top 25 matchups. Just happens that this year the best teams in the Big12 are TCU and OKSt - not TX & OK. Plus we're only 1/2 way into the conference season - this should even out as the season goes on as OR and Utah keep winning (assuming they do).
