So the argument isn't "Stay away from doodles", but "make sure you do your research if you're getting a doodle"
...but that seems to be true of basically any kind of dog or breeder you'd be working with
I agree that the exploding popularity of doodles has led to many disreputable backyard breeders who probably shouldn't be trusted. But that's more just a warning to buyer beware on where you get your dog and who you work with more than anything against the breed in general
