People complain that BYU is more strict than the requirement to have a temple

Recommend. How is regularly attending church at BYU to maintain an ecclesiastical endorsement any different than he question asked in the temple recommend questions about sacrament meeting and priesthood meeting attendance? The Church asks the members to attend their assigned wards not just for individual but for the ward as a whole.
