Clearly he is a moron - 2 time national coach of
the year. 2 Nattys. 3 time PAC coach of the year. Head coach for 6 FBS teams and 2 NFL teams. That is a ridonculous resume. He is being hired as a consultant and a mentor, not a head coach. This is a home run hire.
The resume listed above is impossible without major recruiting ability. The Utes already have 2 - 4 star players for 2014. I predict they will have their best class ever and at least 6 - 4 star players in 2014 and Erickson will help close the deal (and open doors) on a lot of them.
My problem is the discipline issues - keep him away from day to day control of the players.
