If I understand what you are saying...
it's that Blackmon isn't playing because he can't line up right... causing a penalty. If that is the case, then everyone should be held to the same standard and should be benched when they cause a penalty because of lack of fundamental.

I have no idea what the reason is and why Blackmon isn't getting playing time, and why Juergen's is getting playing time. All I know is that Blackmon did cause a penalty because he lined up wrong... it took away a TD he scored... which mind you it showed what he is also capable of doing on the field. Several BYU players are getting multiple penalties and costing our offense TD's and yards or defensive stops and they are still playing. Juergens, while a good effort kind of guy, is not going to be a threat to anyone at any time and the dude made 1 very basic fundamental mistake which eventually lead to a TD for the other team... so why not put someone out there, coach the player up, Blackmon, to know where he needs to go and stand... and you have a legit threat on the field that other teams are forced to account for?

Blackmon was recruited to play WR at BYU... Juergen's is a walk on that wasn't recruited at all. While the walk on story is great and all... I'd rather see the kid with more upside and talent that can make a bigger impact and difference.
