I have had season tickets for 33 years. Fro all bu 2 of those years ('13-14) they were in the SE endzone, smack dab in the middle of that newly formed student section. I was not pleased when they did it. No notice went out to us long-time ticket holders of the proposal asking us our opinion and.or just informing us it was coming. There were rumors, but no official communication from BYU. This didn't sit well with some of the season ticket holders. I know of a few that didn't re-up. Their could possibly be other reasons, but they expressed frustration over the move.

And yes, in many cases the selection or ability to move down was possible. But when the sun in at your back versus in your face the entire game (days games of course), and the blaring loud speaker is in your ear (only speakers in stadium are located in North scoreboard), it wasn't a great move/trade. I'd move back in heartbeat.

And before some of you go off on the fact that "its for the students" and "they should have precedent because its their school", its my school also. They pay a fraction of the cost that I do to support BYU athletics (including my 20 season tickets).
