"3 times the number of teams" is an excuse. Football's lowly crap schools
simply play in lower divisions. There's maybe 20-30 additional schools in basketball that are actually competitive. The rest should have been grouped together in a lower division a long time ago.
What's Rose's record against good teams without Jimmer? Pre and post Jimmer his road record, period, has been especially atrocious. Portland, Pepperdine, LMU, Pacific........PACIFIC!!!!! Those were just last year alone. We lost to a bad Boise team in one of Rose's MWC regular season title years simply because it was on the road. We lost to a non-Tourney Utah last year, on the road. But, hey, we made the tourney, so all was good, right? Phenomenal season, am I right?
If only Bronco had it that easy.
I'm not satisfied with the product Bronco is producing. By his own standard, we haven't been there since 2009. But outside the Jimmer years, Rose hasn't exactly been producing a high quality product, either, and it is definitely currently in decline until proven otherwise on the court.
