People "oooh" and "ahhh" and are impressed by the kill shot but you give up a lot at times to get that little bit of excitement. Fundamentals aren't glamorous or exciting but they sometimes make all the difference. When extremely well executed at a higher level with assignment sound practices they can even transend glamour like, for example, Jimmer's killer crossover move. The crossover dribble is a very basic fundamental dribble technique that has been taught to beginners for generations, well before dribbling between the legs became popular.
