I don't know why people think firing Bronco is remotely within the realm possibility. Even if he had a losing season this year, he's not going to get fired. And it would be a bad decision if he did. What replacement coach would take that job? Fired after your first losing season?

Let me get this straight: honor code, limited recruiting pool, no P5/playoff access, below market salary, and now no margin for error – – fired after one losing season. What a job posting! Qualified coaches will be beating down our door for that opportunity.

I hope Holmoe takes a more active role in leading how things are going to run, but I don't think it's remotely realistic to suggest that Bronco would actually be fired this year.
