I'm firmly against Trunk or Treat. It's just plain lazy.

I always have two bowls of candy. The bowl with the good candy and bowl with the crummy candy. If you're over 12 or didn't put much effort into your costume, you get stuff from the crummy candy bowl. Little kids or kids with great costumes usually get double portions from the good bowl.
