and they have really only been decent in the last generation under Mike Price and Dennis Erickson. It is harder to recruit to Pullman than it is to Provo. Right now, Leach is using all his athletes on offense to try and build an identity for the program that will attract future recruits. He is the best shot WSU has. Everybody knows if they fire Leach now, it will probably be another 10 years before they can hope to have a winning season.
