I don't really have anynother addictions, but I definitely had a sugar addicition. I could not handle portion control. I always over ate and was getting pretty heavy. Last spring I talked to a few buddies who lost a lot of weight and they were both part of food addicts in Recovery, like AA for food.
I was desperate so I joined, no flour or sugar at all, measured my meals, etc. when I started I weighed 253 and now I weigh 177.
I still crave sugar, but it doesn't control me nearly as much as I used to. I know have more self belief and self control to do things that I previously thought weren't possible. It has been great.
