have to encourage her to spend more. I think she probably spends around $400 a year, because she colors her own hair. She has natural highlights that makes it look great, otherwise I'd insist she gets it colored professionally. When money is tight, she spends less and waits longer for haircuts and I have to try to remember to notice and encourage her that it's okay to get it cut and done.
Same with makeup, acne cremes, etc... I want her to buy what she thinks is the best. I'm not even sure how much that all costs, but I'm sure it's not cheap. I'm sure it's at least $400.
It makes her feel better about herself and she looks great. Seems like the perfect place to spend disposable money to me.
