CB Health Experts - What do you think of heart disease caused by inflammation
coming from consumption of simple carbohydrates rather than simply a result of a high cholesterol diet? It makes sense to me on some level that sugars and simple carbohydrates so prevalent in our diets today could be the real underlying cause of heart disease (not to mention Type II diabetes and cancer).

The analogies used in this article seem a little off, but I'm curious about the underlying premise:
