A "miracle," no. But an act of God, I think, yes.
God acts through people. Most of the people on this board are LDS and have been taught their entire lives that God wants them to be charitable, give of their wealth to help others in need. Doing so goes entirely against our human instincts. But because this group of (mostly LDS) folks believe in the things they've been taught to do, they did something charitable. I think that every time someone follows the gospel to help out another in need, it's an act of God.

People use the word "miracle" in this context all the time. A person is a "miracle worker" when they go out of their way to help another. It's a colloquialism. And an appropriate one. It just means that someone was doing what God would have them do, which is how God gets things done.
