Good for BYU's program to be seen as a position that can lead to head jobs.
It's kinda a win/lose situation.
We lose a great coach, but hopefully will allow a future head coach type to want to fill vacancy.
BYU should be able to attract better assistant talent with Dave Rice and Mark Pope getting head coaching offers.
Pope may end up being a strong HC candidate when Dave retires.
