Seems like a similar situation that turned out well
Remember that kid from Glens Falls? Small school, small area.
Now am I comparing this kid to Jimmer the player? No, absolutely not. That would be borderline blasphemy. But I do trust the talent evaluation of our coaching staff. They've been able to recruit some good players the past 6 years or so. A stream of tough injuries to our big men (and one or two slip ups with the HC) has caused most of the troubles, which you cannot plan for.
We have a big surplus of big men coming in over the next several years. I think in 2018-2019 we have only 5 guards on scholarship.
