If BYU needs to win to get in, it should schedule like Boise St.
Play 1-2 P5 teams, win 10+ games, and win multiple BCS/NY6 bowl games.
BYU's current schedule is more likely to relegate BYU to Army status than elevate BYU to a P5 conference.
