pose the question again in all seriousness.
I wonder what % of "depressed" people are exercising (and not just walking around the block but actual exercise that really gets your heart rate up), Eating right specifically avoiding lots of white sugar and doing the church stuff like reading scriptures and praying. IE taking care of our physical and spiritual needs to what capacity they can before going to chemical help.
I know people are legit depressed and it's a chemical thing for some but I still wonder what % off people are really doing this stuff before they get on the meds.
mental illness is no doubt a real thing (Elder Hollands talk on this was great and needed imo) but I just wonder how many are on them when they wouldn't need to be otherwise?
