And it never says you "can't" use them, period. It's an informative revelation
not a law revelation. It's information is to be used in "wisdom." That is, for whatever reason or purpose the believer sees fit in the health & well-being of their life.
Using Section 89 as law--that is, to establish some dietary health code--is against it's own clear intention. This is true however you choose to interpret the specifics of what the revelation says regarding this or that traditional food/drug item.
