Anae clearly needs the blame for some of this and has taken it......
he freely admitted limiting the offense to help Tanner. In the end he neutered his offense because once Michigan found they could control the ground attack and get physical with the receivers he didn't have a plan B.

I understand his reasoning in trying to protect Tanner, but in the end it didn't allow BYU to even compete in that game.
