and his entire family does. They aren't from Utah, Supposedly no one ever was denied admittance to BYU, they are all very active members and he is currently on the ward council, the teams his family support aren't BYU rivals in any real way. It's strange.

I actually have a problem with this kind of thing. BYU it the Church owned and sponsored school. Aside from the sports rivalry, I cant imagine an active LDS member "hating" BYU. Even most ALUFs would rather have their kid at BYU than the U.
