Frankly, I don't care for the "horror" aspects of Halloween. I can appreciate Ghosts and maybe even green witches with brooms, but I dislike the Freddie Kruger/Scream type movies and characters. Not because they scare me, but because I feel like they are a downer.

I encourage my kids to dress up like a soldier, princess, (depending on if they are boy or girl) or some sort of "good" guy. I don't care for serial killers in my halloween.
