I think looking at another 10-20 years coaching, and the earning potential...
Almost anyone would welcome $20-30 (edit: or 10-15 or whatever it would work out to for him) million extra in their retirement fund.
I've only been paying attention to college football "closely" since I got back from my mission in 2005, so all I've known is Bronco, and I was a Freshman 2001-2002 with Doman and Staley...so, I'd be fine with a change. I'd wish Bronco well and would be curious to see how his career plays out somewhere else.
I'm not sure what would happen with a new coach at BYU but I would not be worried about the future.
