I would count how many times he would stop breathing per night and tell him how it made it hard to sleep for me since I knew there was a problem and I was worried about him. Still took a couple of years for him to get a sleep study.
He used to fall asleep in front of the TV mid afternoon, he used to wake up with headaches on Sunday mornings since Saturday was alway labor intense and his body was tired but he couldn't get good sleep.
This was a few years ago. He slept better, felt more rested. Went on a diet and lost weight. No longer snores, is more active.
The CPAP was life changing for both of us.
