I would actually name Tanner as the starter and tell Taysom he will come in
situationally each game for about 20-30 plays.

1- Taysom has only started more than 4.5 games one time in four years. His body can't continually take the pounding of a full season.

2- A two qb system will work when you have two great qb's. Why didn't it work with Neilson and Heaps? They both were sub par. Tebow and Leak won a national championship splitting time in Florida.

3- in Tanner's first season he lasted the whole season. It is not a coincidence, but because of the style he plays. Look at Brady and Manning in the NFL. Pocket qb's have a better chance of holding up if they get the protection they need.

4- Taysom is the best talent on the roster but he does us no good on the sidelines. If we use him situationally throughout the year, we will preserve him, and it will require defenses headaches all year long preparing for two great systems and qb's. I don't understand how many feel it would be better to have Taysom start, get injured a couple games in, and then go back to Tanner.

I feel dang confident with this plan and would take it to the bank!
