And there is the issue. "valid court case" based on the signed contract by the
NFLPA.

There should not be a "valid court case" based on that contract. If the commissioner get's so tyrannical that the owners don't like it, then they fire him. But, according to the contract, he actually has the right to do whatever he wants in cases involving player suspensions for any reason.
