Why are the P5's are much more inclined to be inclusive to Indy programs like BYU if the bottom 1/3 is kicked out? I haven't heard that argument before, so want to better understand.

My initial inclination is that these changes are bad, as it becomes that much harder for BYU to find FBS schools to fill our schedules that are willing to come to Provo on terms favorable to us.
