Similar to how they are this year. Teams like Minnesota, Denver, Phoenix, New Orleans, Los Angeles and Sacramento should all improve (I think only Minnesota is better equipped than the Jazz moving forward, but in any given year who knows).
Dallas will be different, but will throw money at their problem. Who knows how that will turn out. I would guess Houston will be better without Dwight, but who knows how that organization will turn out. Without major injuries, I have a hard time putting the Jazz ahead of the Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, Trailblazers, Clippers or Grizzlies. So you have all of those other teams chasing those last two spots.
Even in a year like this where the West is "down" compared to previous years you see a lot of these teams well positioned either in the draft, free agency or both to get better. The West is tough.
