Every time someone ignores you, you get points towards your ignore score
If your ignore score gets high enough, the filter will ignore you. For example, if your ignore score is 35, everyone with their ignore filter set to 35 or below will have you ignored but those with their ignore filter set to 36+ will not have you ignored.
You can see your ignore score on the "Manage Ignores" page.
