I have tried several different kinds. None was accurate.
I'd be sitting at my desk, and my heart rate would "spike" to 140 (it didn't). I'd be running flat out, and my heart rate would be 80 (it wasn't).
The only device I have ever used with an accurate heart rate monitor was purchased and killed by Jabra. Optical HR sensors appear to suck as a whole.
