It is a decent school although nothing special, what I have disdain for is Utah fans, most of which weren't fans until about 10 years ago and also most of which have a false concept of what the school is.

It is a state school, of which there are hundreds in this country, and it is at best a kid tier one of those. It has had some ok accomplishments both academically and athletically but none of it is all that great, just ok. It is barely known or thought of outside of this state yet ute fans think it is some highly regarded Mecca of both higher learning and athletics.

So no I don't have disdain for the school, it is an ok school, but I have definite disdain for its fans of which a very large portion are LDS haters and low life's. No not all, but it is a sizable enough portion to be extremely visible and somewhat embarrassing to the state IMO.
