Why on earth would the Big 12 want to only add one media market
when they could add two? This would be much more believable if you'd said "the Big 12 wants BYU only if they can get any P5 except for Utah". Adding BYU and Utah only strengthens a rivalry. It does nothing for the rest of the Big 12. I wouldn't expect Utah to be interested anyway, but I don't think the Big 12 has any interest in Utah.
