but it would seem to me that coaching running backs certainly has a fair amount of techical aspects to it, but it is probably one of the least technical of all positions.A lot of being a ball carrier is, other than hitting the right hole and being able to pick up blitzes seems to be instinctual - it's about running in space. Some people seem to have it, some not as much. Certainly there are things to learn about ball security. Blocking and what not, but it just doesn't, at least in mind, compare to coaching QBs, Receivers, DBs, LBs, and linemen. I think Mahe has more than enough experience to coach the RBS and that his personality is a double bonus for effective recruiting.
