But construction management <=> architecture. I faced the exact same dilemma when coming out of HS
long long time ago. I ended up choosing a different path and happy with it. But if you really want to be an architect, you either go somewhere else, or you do like Cougarrr's friend: get a degree at BYU that will satisfy all the non architecture pre requisites and then enroll in a masters program elsewhere and do the "leveling" courses in architecture at that new school before beginning the masters sequence (these are architecture courses that students would have taken up to their senior year).
