I know they've worked hard, but working hard in practice and having the heart to do well has not translated to consistent performance on the field. It's about execution, not passion. (sorry to reference Bronco, but he's right on this one) That is disappointing and unacceptable. If it continues it will undoubtably lead to further retraction of support among the fanbase. That happens in every program. That's just the business. College football is about winning. Losers get less money, winners get more.

Maybe we should get a pool together and buy trophies for all the players for participation. Will that make you feel better?
