by Detmer's reaction he didn't either. He also could've ran the ball picked up 2 yards, got the first down, stopped the clock, and had us in FG range. It wasn't a great throw and the risk reward was not worth trying to squeeze it in there as we can now see. Tipped balls INTs haven't been great passes either. I am not saying all of the INTs are his fault, but you can't honestly say that the pick 6 was anybody else's fault, right? I like Taysom a lot and I was glad when he was named the starter. If the coaches want to continue with him, then I am okay with that as well. But, I am not going to sit here and say he's playing great because Joe Flacco made two poor decisions so it's okay for Taysom to do it. There was also a lot of QBs who made really good throws to take help their teams to win, one of them being Case Keenum. Not a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but, protected the ball during crunch time and the Rams came out with a victory. He threw a pick 6 as well early on, but protected the ball when it counted so his team could win. Taysom is also missing wide open receivers down the field. And his really poor touch on the long ball isn't the WRs fault on some of those passes. Yes, there's been some drops as well, but you've got to hit wide open WRs when they're practically uncovered.
