What better way to prep Tanner, play him.
Tanner is not going to get ruined by getting meaningful snaps the remainder of the year, by meaningful I mean real PT no garbage time.
As bad as TH has played and passed this year I am shocked Tanner was not given a shot. Either the coaches are all in on getting Tanner ready for the future (I don't buy this) or they really don't trust him and he is not as good as touted. I don't believe either, really perplexing.
I am not saying Tanner is a lot better, I honestly don't know, but it is worth finding out. I feel this year is "what could have been" season. Tanner may very well have been a difference maker in several games (Utah, UCLA, Boise State etc.).
