Stayed a few days in Dublin, took the hop on, hop off bus, see the Jail or Gaol and walk around downtown Dublin.
Took the train to Galway, rented a car and stayed in Bed and Breakfasts at three different places.
1st one, Just outside Galway - see the Irish Music show there--awesome
then on to Kylemore Abbey and the Connemara, stayed next night at Clifden - precarious and cool road to our B&B,
Then drove down to Bunratty the next day. Checked into B&B and then out to cliffs of Moher. Nice sunny day.
Castle tour the next day in Bunratty and then flew out of Sharon airport.

My sense is there are about a thousand such itineraries you could do in Ireland and be just as pleased.
