I love Taysom as much as any BYU fan, but he is what he is. An average thrower, a well above average runner, and an incredible leader.

I think as folks have an accurate perspective of who Taysom is as a QB it helps with expectation management.

On that note, I don't think Tanner is going to be Heisman Trophy winning Ty Detmer in the Bowl Game or next year, but he will be a throwing QB that BYU is in desperate need of.
