The 2nd/3rd one is pretty funny with how over exaggerated everything is. So Florida lists 20 non coaching staff. Bama has 24, and that includes a 2nd secretary listed while Florida lists one, and basically another one for Bama with "special assistant to the HC." Wow... HUUUGE difference there I tell you. Bama is just blowing them out of the water with additional secretaries.
Like I said in other posts. I don't know where you came up with the "2x" thing because that's not even close. And most big schools are going to be somewhere in the same category. Pretty sure Michigan tops Bama by quite a bit actually.
If you want to argue about money and the quality of support staff hired, that's another thing. But Bama isn't blowing everyone out of the water with total staff. There are tons of people on the sidelines for all sorts of programs, even smaller ones. That article is whiny and nonsense. That's just an article about a coach making excuses saying he doesn't have the manpower.
"You'll see more team-issued polo shirts than you can count." Oh ok, so that does it huh? Give more people shirts and make it look lopsided. I've been on the sidelines, not at Bama, and this stuff is overblown. How many every school has/allowed to have? Yes, argue it by all means. But saying Bama blows everyone out of the water? Not a chance.
