During Brady's reign, New England is 13-5 in games Brady did not start
That is remarkable, especially considering some of those starts didn't come with an offseason worth of reps to get timing down. The 49ers were much the same way with backups like Jeff Kemp, Steve Deberg, Ty Detmer, Elvis Grbac, etc. looking good pinch hitting.
