the best option. P5 inclusion is my wish but after the big12 debacle I do not see any P5 invites coming in any near or distant time frame. National championship dreams are that a big dream. BYU's only hope of that is if it ever gets invited to a p5 conference and again who sees that happening. I prefer being in a conference. Independence is football purgatory and the WCC is a High school basketball conference that we can't even win. Only p5 inclusion will bring us p5 recruits. Independence vs G5 is probably an even swap. I will always cheer for BYU but independence and WCC is not my cup of tea.
