If they (incorrectly) call the first Clemson rub play, it's a 10 yrd penalty and
they try again on 2nd and 14, and they probably don't go back to it on the last TD. It may not change the game at all.
If the refs went ticky-tacky on every defensive PI, the entire tone/tempo of the game is changed, and if the calls were called against both sides it may not even benefit Clemson.
