Generally speaking, Rose has struggled most with his youngest teams. His most experienced teams have usually been better. Is that really very surprising? Maybe, given the pedigree of these particular kids, but strangely enough with past BYU teams experience has had much more to do with success than hype.

Today we are watching Rose's youngest team EVER. There was little chance this team was ever going to be significantly better, this season, than last year's team. The safest bet was that they'd be slightly worse, which so far is holding true.
