I was in jury selection once in a personal injury trial involving chiropractic
testimony. I was in the jury box and plaintiff's counsel asked me whether I would be able to accept testimony about the alleged injury submitted in the form of an affadavit from a chiropractor. I stated that I thought that I would have a problem accepting testimony like that (I was admittedly hoping not to be selected).

When plaintiff's counsel asked me why, I said something like "I suppose I would prefer to hear testimony from someone who was willing to provide that testimony in person, so I could look them in the eye and judge their credibility. Oh, and you said the testimony was from a chiropractor."

I was not selected for the jury.
